We follow Kharge's advice and respect the opinions of the opposition: Shivakumar D K

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar stated on Sunday that the party respects the opinions of the opposition and follows the lead of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Kharge asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar to cooperate and put the state's development first on Saturday amid the Congress's power struggle.

In a public assembly, Kharge at Jewargi in his hometown of Kalaburagi made a comment that is interpreted as a subliminal plea to end their power struggle: "If they (Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah) go together in the same direction, it will be correct." It will be challenging if they take separate paths.

As Kharge made the remark, Shivakumar, who was sharing the stage with him, continued to smile. Shivakumar responded to Kharge's comment by telling reporters in Ramanagara, "I was on the stage. We'll pay attention to him (Kharge) and follow his advice.
