Adani Green Energy Profit Rises 25.54% To Rs 383 Crore in Q4
Adani Green Energy's overall net profit increased by 25.54 percent to Rs 383 crore in the March quarter, owing to greater revenues. According to a regulatory filing, the company's combined net profit last year was Rs 310 crore. The company's total income increased to Rs 3,278 crore in the quarter, up from Rs 2,841 crore at the same time last year. The overall net profit for FY25 increased to Rs 2,001 crore from Rs 1,260 crore in FY24. Similarly, overall income in the current fiscal year increased to Rs 12,422 crore from Rs 10,521 crore in the same period last year.
The board, on the suggestion of the nomination and remuneration committee, authorized Vneet S Jaain's re-appointment as the Company's Managing Director for five years beginning July 10, 2025, subject to shareholder approval, it stated. Raminder Singh Gujral has been appointed as an Independent Director for a second three-year term beginning July 10, 2025, according to the statement.
In a second statement, Adani Green Energy Executive Director Sagar Adani stated, "We are playing an important role in India's renewable energy growth, as evidenced by our historic 3.3 GW greenfield capacity addition in FY25." We contributed 16% to the nation's utility-scale solar and 14% to wind energy increases, establishing new standards for quick, large-scale renewable energy deployment.
