In Delhi, 10 grams of 22 carat gold cost ₹89,563, while 24 carat gold was priced at ₹97,693/10 gms. In Mumbai, India's financial center, 24 carat gold costs ₹97,547 per 10 grams, whereas 22 carat gold costs ₹89,417.
In Chennai, 24 carat and 22 carat gold were priced at ₹97,541/10 gms and ₹89,411/10 gms, respectively. Gold is seen as a desirable investment option. 24 carat gold is the purest version of the metal, having a purity of 99.99%. In contrast, 22k gold is made out of 22 parts gold and two additional metals, such as copper and zinc. It's used to make jewelry.
