Reliance Retail's worth will reach $125 billion because to cost reductions and job oversight by daughter Isha and Mukesh Ambani: Report
According to Bloomberg, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani is trying to increase the company's valuation to $125 billion by restructuring Reliance Retail Ventures, the retail division of his vast corporate empire.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation who asked not to be named, Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia, and his daughter Isha Ambani are in charge of cost and employment reductions. Limiting the growth of physical stores, controlling marketing expenditures, combining Reliance Brands with Reliance Retail, and examining international brand alliances are a few examples of these initiatives.
The reorganization follows brokerages' $50 billion valuation estimate, which is half of what the business raised two years ago. According to Bloomberg, Ambani recently admitted to investors that Reliance Retail's ambitious development across formats and geographies had caused it to grow too large too rapidly.
