Car crash in Vadodara, Gujarat: Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia, 23, who is accused of killing a woman and injuring four others after he slammed his vehicle into several other vehicles in Vadodara, Gujarat, said on Friday that he was not intoxicated when the incident occurred late Thursday night.
Rakshit Chaurasia, the driver, was taken into custody after the collision, which happened in the Karelibaug region near Muktanand Cross Roads at around 12.30 am, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Panna Momaya.
Witnesses who saw Rakshit Chaurasia at the site told police that he seemed inebriated and was yelling "another round, another round" after exiting the vehicle, suggesting that it might be a case of drunk driving, the official said.
