INDIA Bloc likely to meet in Patna on April 17 to plan poll strategy

Patna: To develop an electoral strategy for the October–November assembly elections in Bihar, the leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc will meet on April 17 at the home of Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the assembly.

Since the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will be seeking a resolution addressing the coalition's chief ministerial face in the next elections, the meeting—which is expected to be attended by prominent leaders of the constituent partners, including the Congress and left-leaning parties—is vital. According to Congress legislature party leader in the assembly Shakeel Ahmad Khan, the RJD leader called the meeting to discuss plans to unseat the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which is led by Nitish Kumar.

Mahagathbandhan-MGB missed the bus the last time around because we received 0.03% fewer votes. However, because of the systematic looting, turmoil, and rising prices, as well as the growing animosity, people are eager to overthrow the corrupt and communal rule," Khan stated.
