'Mamata Banerjee calls rioters messengers of peace': Yogi Adityanath's attack over Murshidabad violence

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, attacked West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee harshly on Tuesday, criticizing "her silence" on the Waqf Act-related violence in her state. Bengal is on fire. The state chief minister doesn't say anything. "Messengers of peace" is how she describes rioters. However, ANI quoted him as saying, "Those who understand only force will not listen to words."

They have allowed rioters total license to cause disturbances in the name of secularism. For the past week, the entire city of Murshidabad has been on fire, but the government has said nothing. We need to curb such anarchy," he continued. Additionally, Yogi Adityanath chastised the Samajwadi Party and the Congress for their inaction on the matter.

"I express my gratitude to the local judiciary for deploying central forces to protect the area's minority Hindu population. Regarding the disturbances in Murshidabad, the Congress says nothing. He added, "The Samajwadi Party is also silent." Last week, when protests against the Waqf (Amendment) Act grew more intense, violence broke out in West Bengal's Murshidabad area, killing three individuals.
