Maharashtra: Uddhav, Raj Thackeray indicate willingness to work together
Raj Thackeray, the leader of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), and Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), each stated separately on Saturday that they were prepared to put aside their differences in order to work together for the sake of Maharashtra and the Marathi people.
Raj Thackeray responded to a question in a Saturday-released podcast with filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar by saying that he can put aside small disagreements for the greater good of Maharashtra and that he can collaborate with his estranged cousin and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray, provided the latter is prepared.
In response, Uddhav Thackeray stated that he is also prepared to put aside disagreements over the Marathi language and Maharashtra during a gathering of the Bhartiya Kamgar Sena, his party's trade union section. However, he stipulated that Raj Thackeray should not associate with anti-Maharashtra individuals or those who work for such parties under that situation.
