Unaware Bengaluru man disposes bag with stillborn; rape case surfaces: Report

A Bengaluru man's helping gesture for a neighbor turned into a nightmare when he ended up in police prison for throwing out a bag that contained a stillborn infant. The Times of India said that the man told authorities he had no idea what was in the trash bag and had only complied to a girl's request to dispose of it. The neighbor admitted to being the mother of the stillborn kid after the police knocked on her house.

Working as a vegetable vendor, the girl developed feelings for a local autorickshaw driver. She concealed the fact that she was pregnant from her laboring parents. With the assistance of a friend, the girl gave birth at home after experiencing pain in the eighth month of her pregnancy. However, the infant passed away upon delivery. She put the infant in the bag and asked the unwary neighbor to throw it out.

The website was notified by the Yelahanka Police that a male infant had been found in a plastic bag. The man was located using the area's CCTV footage. He was permitted to return home once the circumstances were made obvious. The police arrested the 17-year-old girl's lover for raping and impregnating a child based on her statement.
