‘Why no action?’: Oppn continues attack on BJP over Dubey’s remarks on judiciary

Opposition party leaders have accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of orchestrating a deliberate attack on India's judiciary in response to BJP MP Nishikant Dubey's controversial remarks about the Supreme Court and the Chief Justice of India, despite BJP president JP Nadda issuing a formal clarification disowning Dubey's remark.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh stated, "These MPs are repeat offenders...". The outgoing BJP president's statement is nothing more than damage control. It won't deceive anyone... (They) are frequently employed by G2 to harm communities, institutions, and individuals." "If the continued silence of the Prime Minister on these repeated attacks on the Indian Constitution is not tacitly supportive of them, why has no action been taken against these two MPs?"

Ramesh went on to mention BJP MPs Dubey and Dinesh Sharma, who had lately made statements criticizing the judiciary. Ramesh went on to say, "The outgoing BJP President is completely mute on equally terrible remarks on the court that are repeatedly made by one of its very distinguished appointees to a high constitutional office...This is the entire political science reflecting on itself as political hypocrisy."
