BHU will shortly release requests for proposals to build significant research centers
Members of Banaras Hindu University will soon be asked to submit ideas for the construction of significant research facilities. By building new facilities that will provide BHU's research endeavors a competitive edge, the move seeks to further develop and fortify the university's research ecosystem. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi made this announcement during Monday's Geology Day ceremony.
According to Prof. Chaturvedi, investment is necessary for strong science, not just in terms of financial resources but also in the form of top-notch faculty, students, facilities, and a culture that supports high-caliber research. The goal of the proposed proposal to build significant research facilities is to advance BHU's pursuit of excellence in research.
The vice chancellor declared that under the next initiative, proposals over ₹25 lakh will be taken into consideration. He challenged academics to think creatively and generate concepts that would change the game. "Build a team with ambition and credibility. According to Professor Chaturvedi, "The university will handle the funds if you have an idea that has the potential to drive the university's growth in research and innovation."
