Bengal will implement a real-time investment proposal tracking system.
According to officials informed of the development, the West Bengal government intends to implement a real-time tracking system for investment requests in order to eliminate obstacles and guarantee prompt clearance.
A top administrator who attended the meeting stated, "In order to ensure prompt and time-bound approvals, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee asked the state's chief secretary to introduce a real-time tracking system for investment proposals in a recent meeting."
At the 8th Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS), a TMC-government flagship investment summit that took place in Kolkata from February 5–6, the state received investment bids totaling ₹4.4 lakh crores. According to the administration, the state has received proposals totaling around ₹19 lakh crore over the past seven business summits. Of these, projects totaling ₹13 lakh crore have been completed, with the remaining projects still in progress.
