Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road clogged with traffic, commuters take 2 hours to cover 3 km
On Wednesday, commuters were left trapped for hours due to heavy traffic congestion on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road (ORR). The intensity of the bottleneck was demonstrated by a commuter who stated that only 3 km had been moved in two hours.
A commuter who claimed to have only traveled 3 km in two hours illustrated the severity of the backlog. Authorities blamed the excessive traffic on ongoing metro construction at the Salem Railway Bridge on the outer ring road. "Traffic from Mahadevapura to Marathahalli and from Marathahalli to Mahadevapura will be delayed due to current metro development. "Please plan appropriately and cooperate with us," the police statement said.
