The new Kerala BJP chief, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, promises to make the state "Viksit."
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, a technocrat-turned-politician and former Union IT Minister, was chosen on Monday to serve as the next president of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Kerala state unit.
Speaking to party members, Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated that he has been given the duty of leading the BJP.
He described the state as "in decline," claimed it is a "huge opportunity and significant honor" for him, and promised that it will be "Viksit Kerala."
